The Ethel Barrymore Theatre will feature a Main Stem revival of August Wilson's The Piano Lesson this weekend, starring an Oscar nominee for Pulp Fiction as the leading lady.

During the curtain call of the show, Rev. Al Sharpton surprised him with a cake by presenting it to him.

Several celebrities have watched Samuel and the cast in recent weeks at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.

Other notable names in attendance included Brandee Evans, Condola Rashad, Deborah Joy Winans, Taraji P. Henson, Giancarlo Esposito, and Natasha Lyonne.

This limited engagement on Broadway will run until January 29, and will be directed by Samuel's wife, LaTanya Richardson Jackson.

LaTanya, 73, spoke about working so closely with her husband before the show's official opening on Oct. 13.
