Golden State Warriors star Jayson Tatum was swept by Boston Celtics 123-107 in the NBA Finals rematch in San Francisco.

Despite being without Andrew Wiggins, the Warriors were able to outpace the league's top offensive team with 34 points from Klay Thompson, 32 from Curry, and 20 from Jordan Poole.

In spite of Brown's 31 points, Tatum scored only 18 points on 6-for-21 shooting and 2-for-9 from three, as Boston lost 51.1 per cent to 43.7 per cent overall and 39-36 from behind the arc.

As the third quarter concluded, the Warriors had built up to a 14-point lead, trailing only briefly.

A fourth straight win for the Celtics will kick off a six-game trip. Derrick White hit both of his free throws at the end of the fourth period to pull the team within eight.
