In a game played at Raymond James Stadium on Monday night, the New Orleans Saints were defeated by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17-16
As a result of the Saints' loss, they remain at the top of the NFC South with a 6-6 record and a 4-9 record heading into the bye week.
Despite a 91-yard drive ending with a 1-yard touchdown pass by Tom Brady, the Saints led 16-3 with 5:21 left in the game.
Tampa Bay took over on their 37-yard line after the Saints offense were forced to go three-and-out in the final 30 seconds, resulting in a touchdown pass from Tom Brady to Rachaad White of six yards.
It was the team's third interception this season, but the late collapse spoiled its defensive effort.
"That's what Tom has done his entire career," Dalton said of Brady's 34 of 51 for 266 yards and the game-winning touchdown.
