A new chapter has begun in the FTX saga with the arrest of Sam Bankman- Fried, who was arrested in the Bahamas on Monday.
Against the Southern District of New York will be a former crypto billionaire who has been fighting a legal battle for more than two years.
There is no comment from the U.S. prosecutors yet on the indictment, which is expected to remain sealed until Tuesday morning.
Bankman-Fried was not identified by the Bahamas Attorney General or the Royal Bahamas Police Force.

In an article available in the NY Times, it was reported that Bankman-Fried was accused of securities fraud as well as conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
In addition to these charges, he was also charged with separate counts of securities fraud, wire fraud, and money laundering.
